'Stylish Mount Cards'The results are flattering miniature paper profiles created in a matter of minutes. They are then presented to the guests in stylish mount cards. Whatsmore, Sarah always cuts two copies at the same time so the duplicate silhouettes are given to the happy couple to frame, or add to a guest book.
A Romantic History
Before the birth of photography silhouettes were often the only way to capture a likeness of a secret lover. In the 16th Century Jane Austin famously crated silhouettes of herself and her sisters. You can just imagine Elizabeth swooning over a Silhouette of her Mr Darcy!
